A transparent boundary between readiness, simulation, observation, and experiment
Vite.cite uses explicit source labels so that users can tell what the product inspected, what it simulated, what was observed externally, and what was measured in an experiment.
Heuristic
A heuristic result applies documented, deterministic rules to public-site or draft signals. It can explain structural readiness, but it is not a probability that an independent AI system will cite the page.
Simulation
A simulation is a managed preview used for scenario exploration. It may resemble an answer-engine response style, but it is not represented as a direct query to the named provider unless that interaction was genuinely performed and recorded.
Observed
An observed result is backed by a real external observation with engine, prompt, time, outcome, and provenance. Sample and preview rows do not enter observed datasets.
Experimental
An experimental result compares a defined baseline and intervention across a controlled monitored set. Vite.cite reports measured association or change and avoids causal language unless the design supports it.
